Description: McLeod Health is at present looking to employ Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia Department right now, this position will be assigned in South Carolina. The CRNA is responsible for the pre-operative assessment, perioperative and post-op! erative care of surgical patients. He/she assesses, plans, implements and evaluates delivery of patient care which is age appropriate for the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient with a wide variety of medical/surgical conditions. He/she keeps abreast of techniques, skills, current practices and regulations appropriate to the age of patient served. This person contributes to patient services and the hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, policies and procedures and educational efforts.
Work Schedule
Full-time, 80 hrs bi-weekly, Monday-Friday, primarily 7am-3:30pm, 1 week-day call per week and 1 week-end call per month. Twenty (20) minute response time and/or housing accommodations available on-site.

Skills Required
Must be a graduate from an approved school of Nursing & hold a current SC license as a registered nur! se; a graduate from an approved Nurse Anesthesia program accre! dited by the AANA Council on Accreditation; must have successfully completed the certification examination administered by the AANA Council on Certification; must comply with criteria for biennial recertification as defined by the AANA Council of Recertification; hold current SC official recognition as a CRNA. Must have 5 years, or greater, CRNA experience.
