Job Title: Nurse AnesthetistDepartment Name: Anesthesia Location: Hillcrest Memorial Hospital Full/Part Time: Part-time Shift: 20 per week Mi! nimum Hourly Base Rate: 64.52 Job Number: 2013-3462 Job Description: Responds to the anesthetic needs of patients and coordinates their care with other perioperative personnel during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. Administers anesthesia services to patients for medical and surgical procedures relevant to the facility under the medical direction of staff anesthesiologist. Responds to the emergent airway management within the facility as needed. May be on-call, either in-house or from home, as required by the facility.
Job Qualifications: Master`s Degree in Nurse Anesthesia, OR, Anesthesia training and Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist prior to 1995 with five (5) years of experience; registered as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State Board of Nursing, and Certified, re-certified, or eligible for certification in Nurse Anesthesia required. *New Graduates, within six (6) months of graduation, from an accredited CRNA program wil! l be considered.
