Basic Function: The Anesthesia Technician assists nurse anesthetists and anesthesiologists in the main OR, OB, and other locations throughout the hospital where anest! hesia services are provided. They are responsible for performing these duties under the supervision of the nurse anesthetist and anesthesiologist. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED CPR Certification (or completion of course within one year) Ability to work in stressful environment or areas that are confined or crowded Basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications: At least one year experience working in an acute care environment Experience working in the Operating Room or Anesthesia area
